Give it a rough title — first words that come. You can rename it later.
This is a tool for problems, not losses. If you're grieving, or in crisis, this isn't the right instrument — in the US you can call or text 988 any hour, and a person will answer.
Put three moments on it. Anything notable — a win, a loss, a detour. One word is enough; you know what it means.
Every faint line is running right now, in parallel with yours. Sit with that for a breath — then come back.
Picture the version of you on the other side of this. Same line, a little further along, problem behind them. If that version can exist, even in theory: tap the sun.
Take your time. The tap should mean it.
Boil it down to about three words. Not the whole story — the core of it.
Naming it is an event. It gets today's date.
Name them one at a time — up to three. Watch where they go.
Every fear you named is to the right of the sun — territory that doesn't exist yet. Notice the left side: nothing there ever stayed a fear. It either happened and you're still here drawing the line, or it never happened at all.
One sentence. From the state things are in, to the state you want.
Not the whole thing. A phone call. A sentence to someone. Twenty minutes. The smallest real move.
"No" is a real answer. Some problems dissolve when you price them out — that's not quitting, that's arithmetic.
